APACHE CANYON In the reconstructed edition of GBU, Tuco seeks medical help for Blondie and calls at a Union Army camp in Apache Canyon from where they are directed to Father Ramirez' mission. The location of Apache Canyon has eluded all who have searched for it. At least, it's been that way till now. Tuco Tours finally tracked it down on 21st January 2008. |

There are two kinds of Apache
Canyon ........
The best shots of Apache
Canyon are found in a scene in Johnny Yuma. We assessed that Johnny Yuma
used the other side of the same buildings for a second scene. |
| The view along its boundary wall looked towards a mound in the foreground and distant hills to the rear. Details of the mound are still apparent (for example, patterns which are made by hard rock deposits). | |||||||||||
| The important detail on the other side is the high level door/window and its relationship to the small window on the end of the adjacent lower building. There are also two drains from the higher level roof which correspond with those which can be seen in Johnny Yuma. |
| This side of the yard relates to the two storey building behind in the correct proportions. There is also tall eucalyptus to the rear. |
